JAMES KINGMAN, LPC - PRESIDENT
James Kingman is a Licensed Professional Counselor (License #LPC009891) in the state of Georgia and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). He was previously on staff at the Atlanta Center for Eating Disorders (ACE) and currently sees private clients in his Brookhaven office and virtually. James made the transition from a successful corporate career to counseling based on his desire to help others in our community. James treats a diverse range of clients, helping them explore ways to effectively cope with concerns such as depression, anxiety, LGBTQ/gender identity, relationship issues and eating disorders.

KAREN CORRY, LPC - VICE-PRESIDENT
Karen is a Registered Art Therapist and LPC with Modern Path. Her focus is working with trans and gender expansive teens and adults, and with survivors of trauma. Karen has worked for the LPCA of GA reviewing CE applications for approval and consulting with members on the licensure process.
In the community, she volunteers with Georgia Safe Schools Coalition, and Take This, a non-profit
for mental health support for gamers, and serves on the board for the Georgia Art Therapy Association.

AARON KIMBLE, PhD, MA, MBA, CLC - TREASURER
Aaron serves as a Sr. Project Manager for DeKalb County as well as a clinical therapy associate for
both A Place for Me Counseling and WholeHeart Psychotherapy. As a Sr. Project Manager for DeKalb County, Dr. Kimble serves as the Chair for the Hotel/Motel, Multifamily, and Tattoo Parlor Task Forces, where he uses this avenue to promote social justice through researching and writing policy for socio-economic change. As a multi-faceted clinician, Dr. Kimble focuses on assisting clients through
holistic healing of the body, mind, and spirit. Dr. Kimble utilizes cognitive behavioral, psychodynamic, and emotionally focused therapies to assist individuals, couples, and families in achieving their
mental health goals. Dr. Kimble specializes in treating clients with sexual health issues, grief, narcissism, LGBT+, and social justice concerns.

MATTHEW SHUGART - EVENTS CHAIR
Matthew specializes in supporting individuals who are navigating neurodiversity and Autism, healing from the complexities of trauma, seeking support and recovery from eating disorders, and anyone who wants to embrace the potential of a major life transition. Matthew is also well versed in depression and anxiety and can draw from a variety of therapeutic modalities, such as EMDR, Person Centered, Somatic Healing & Mindfulness, Internal Family Systems, and Transactional Analysis.

Tai "T" Dyer is a Licensed Professional Counselor (lpc014089)- the owner and founder of Mentally Flourishing, a hybrid walk-and-talk private practice based in Georgia, with telehealth options available in Florida and South Carolina. T provides accessible, affirming care to BIPOC and LGBTQ+ individuals. With specialized training in trauma-informed care and holistic practices (rhythmic and movement), T has extensive experience working with gender dysphoria, developmental and relational trauma, OCD, and anxiety disorder. They provide services for individuals and couples aged 18 and over. They create a safe and inclusive environment that empowers clients to embrace their authentic selves while incorporating spirituality and energy work. Emphasizing kindness, connection and collaboration to ensure every client feels heard and supported on their path to healing and growth. Active in the community, T is a moderator in BIPOC OCD Peer consult group, volunteers with ATL Craft and engages in speaking engagements focusing on generational trauma, the intersection of neurodiversity, and the experiences of Black and Brown queer individuals.
