Joining the LGBTQ Therapist Resource gives you access to:
- A Professional Profile in the LGBTQ Therapist Resource Directory to reach members of the LGBTQ community directly who are seeking an affirming mental health professional.
- Professional Networking Events with other members of the LGBTQ Therapist Resource, and opportunities to connect with likeminded mental health professionals for peer consultation, clinical supervision, and collaboration.
- Internal Referral & Resource Lists of other health professionals and organizations serving LGBTQ-identified individuals in Georgia.
- A Member Listserv to communicate directly with the LGBTQ Therapist Resource community about upcoming events, referral requests, and other services such as group offerings.
- Opportunities to Give Back to the LGBTQ Community through volunteer events hosted by the LGBTQ Therapist Resource and our partnering organizations.
INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIP (Yearly)
Individual memberships are available for $65/year or $120/2years for terminally licensed individuals and $40/year for provisionally licensed individuals and students ($30/year equity pricing). Individual memberships provide you access to all of the resources listed above. All membership applications are reviewed by our Membership Chair to ensure that each potential member meets the following criteria:

Individual memberships provide you access to all of the resources listed above. All membership applications are reviewed by our Membership Chair to ensure that each potential member meets the following criteria:
- Terminally licensed in your field of study (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, Licensed Clinical Psychologist) or provisionally licensed (LSW, LAPC, AMFT, PhD or PsyD without licensure) under the supervision of an LGBTQ-affirming supervisor or LGBTQ Therapist Resource approved supervisor. (Proof of licensure will be requested at the time of application. In cases where an individual is still under supervision, licensure of the supervisor will be requested).
- Specific training in providing affirmative therapy for LGBTQ-identified individuals. (This may include courses and formalized training in affirmative therapy practices, as well as research in topics related to LGBTQ health and wellness, and issues and concerns experienced by LGBTQ individuals).
- Extensive experience providing clinical services to LGBTQ-identified clients. (Applicable experience should be more extensive than working with a handful of LGBTQ-identified clients over the course of your clinical career).

GROUP PRACTICE MEMBERSHIP (Yearly Only)
Memberships are offered to group practices for $175 per year. Group Practice Memberships include the same member benefits as the individual membership as well as:

- Group Practice Profile on the LGBTQ Therapist Resource Directory.
- Half off individual membership profiles ($25/year) for all staff members of the group practice that meet the requirements of membership.
ORGANIZATIONAL MEMBERSHIP (Yearly Only)
Memberships are offered to mental health organizations (non-group practices that are non-profits or for-profit organizations such as treatment centers, etc.) for $200 per year. Organizational Memberships include the same member benefits as individual memberships as well as:
In order to be approved as an Organizational Member, the organization must offer LGBTQ-specific services to their clients and demonstrate a commitment to affirmative practice through ongoing trainings and/or supervision of their employees.

Memberships are offered to mental health organizations (non-group practices that are non-profits or for-profit organizations such as treatment centers, etc.) for $200 per year. Organizational Memberships include the same member benefits as individual memberships as well as:
- Employees of the organization can independently join the Member Listserv and participate in all networking events without joining as an independent member.
- Opportunities to be featured at a networking event as a “special guest” where the organization can briefly present on their services and provide information about their organization to the membership community.
In order to be approved as an Organizational Member, the organization must offer LGBTQ-specific services to their clients and demonstrate a commitment to affirmative practice through ongoing trainings and/or supervision of their employees.
